FLASS scholars listed in Stanford University’s 2020 list of the world’s top 2% of scientists
13 FLASS scholars are included in the list based on their career-long citation impact (until the end of 2020)
16 FLASS scholars are included in the list based on their single-year (2020) citation impact
Congratulations to the scholars at FLASS who made it into Stanford University’s list of the world’s top 2% most highly cited scientists in various disciplines.
The list, prepared by a research team at Stanford University, included 100,000 top scientists based on their career-long citation impact (until the end of 2020) and single year citation category (2020). Thirteen FLASS scholars were featured in the former category, while 16 FLASS scholars were listed in the latter category. Scientists being evaluated are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Field- and subfield-specific percentiles are also provided for all scientists who have published at least five papers. The selection is based on the top 100,000 by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above.
The inclusion of FLASS’s scholars in the list reflects the high academic standard of our faculty and the excellent research output achieved by our academics. Adhering to the Education-plus initiative, FLASS will continue to strive for academic excellence and provide an environment conducive to top-notch research projects across various disciplines.
