Six SSC Regular Seminar Series sessions held in 2020/21
To facilitate the exchange of ideas among researchers regarding their latest research projects and knowledge transfer activities, the Department of Social Sciences (SSC) organises the Regular Seminar Series every academic year. In the past academic year, six sessions were organised online by the department.
Topics covered in the six sessions included digital citizenship education, ecotourism, political consumerism, migration and immigration, and climate change. Talks about research methods including survey data collection and interviewer bias, as well as presentations on the latest findings in the field of curriculum studies were also held. There were fruitful discussions and exchanges among speakers and participants in every session of the series. The final session of the series was held in May 2021, where around 25 participants attended.
