“Apart from the laughter, the TV sitcom prompted me to think more deeply about what physics is. In one episode, Sheldon, the theoretical physicist, teaches his neighbour Penny that physics comes from the ancient Greek word ‘physika’, meaning the science of natural things. He says physics began on a warm summer evening around 600BC when people looked up at the night sky and noticed that some of the stars seem to move so they named them Planetai, the Greek word for wanderer.”
“During my time at EdUHK, I participated in various art projects. I still remember the excitement of submitting project proposals and mural designs to different event organisers. Although not all of them were successful, I learnt that failure is an opportunity to rise again.”
