FLASS Christmas Party 2022
Christmas is known as a time for loving, sharing and sending others warm wishes. Every year at FLASS, we celebrate Christmas with a sumptuous buffet lunch. On 16 December, faculty and departmental management was joined by administrative staff to enjoy delicious food and drinks, and catch up with one another. As the FIFA World Cup 2022 – one of the world’s most spectacular sporting events – took place before Christmas this year, a number of staff members and professors were eager to provide their ‘expert’ views on which team would win the final match on 18 December and take home the World Cup.
Professor Li Wai-keung, Dean of FLASS, delivered a short speech at the opening of the Christmas party. He thanked everyone for their great work and efforts in making FLASS an even better place to teach and learn. Filled with the spirit of Christmas, the room was alive with chatter and laughter as people updated each other on recent events and their most memorable moments throughout the year.
FLASS is a big family comprising academic staff, research assistants, and administrative staff. It is FLASS’s custom to take a family photo at the annual Christmas party.
